This unit has a couple cosmetic imperfections. Im a harsh critique! Given how these are made, this is going to happen.
The 1978R is the Rat clone I’ve heard said is - “The Rat they finally bonded with!”.
What makes this pedal unique besides being a hand made, hand crafted and hand soldered unit, is the following…
- EQ’ed out a small amount of high frequencies I thought were noisy!
- Custom chosen potentiometer types to access custom ranges!
- Toggle switch takes you from standard clipping to turbo!
